HI everyone, and Happy Friday!!!
Please I need some help, my hubby is shopping around to buy me a treadmill for my bday; he has been saving for a while and has enough funds to purchase one. Please can anyone give me some input on some good ones, where to purchase it? a range in price?

Thank soooo much, I am soooo excited that I can finally have a treadmill in my own home.

I would go to Sears or a sportings goods store and just jump on some and try them out.

I don't think that it really matters which one you get. I got mine from walmart for 250 and it works just as good as the expensive ones at the gym.

I got mine from Sears. I bought it online for around $400 on sale. I love it! It's a Pro Form.
  • I have a NordicTrack T7 that I purchased from Sears. Not the top of the line by any means, but I'm happy with it.

Sounds like good advice, plus you should learn how to adjust the belt when it gets loose, My fiance runs on hers and kills the belt, this happens alot on cheaper home TMs. the ones in the clubs cost $5000+ and don't need the maintainence as much. Keep it clean so dust does not get into the gears and get allen wrenches to adjust belt tension.

Thank you everyone for your input, I found ProForm 600 (or something like that) on sale for $799.99 at Sport Authority, I really like the way it looks and the reviews are great. I also read that it's important to buy the extra years of warranty, any thoughts on that????

I understand the ones at the gym are extremely expensive and seriously it's just me using it. I'll keep you posted and I will look in craigslist too.
