Hello All!
I am trying to fully understand the "eat your exercise calories" thing I have read about in a couple posts. I know that it's probably been asked about a trillion times, but I read two and I only slightly understand...can anyone help me out here? I just wanna make sure I do this right to lose the weight I need to. Thanks!!!! :)

The simple answer is... Eat them. Eat them all.

There's a really good post about this by Banks. I'll see if I can find it and bump it for you. Happy eating!

Ok... found and bumped for you. It's under food and nutrition and is titled 'For those questioning or confused about eating exercise calories.' Happy reading!

If your minimum is 1200, eat 1200 calories. No less, and if more, try to keep it within 100 calories.
If you work out, enter your workout into the exercise log and for all those calories you've burned, eat them too. For example, I burned 267 calories at the gym today. That is an extra 267 calories in addition to my 1200 that I need to eat today. I will eat somewhere in the neighborhood of 1467 calories today, give or take.
