Hi everyone! I just started using the site a couple of days ago. I know you can add friends on here, so I thought that would be a great way to get some extra support. I'm a 20 year old college student trying to lose my freshman 15 and get back to my precollege weight (and maybe take off a couple extra while I'm at it). I always have a pretty easy time losing the first few pounds, but then I get content and gain it all back. Anybody have some good advice for staying motivated throughot the whole diet? I know I don't have too much to lose so I'm sure some people have gotten over much more difficult. Any other college students out there?

I'm also a college student who's looking to loose weight, except I'm working to get in the best shape of my life. The best thing to do to keep on track is to get friends (esp. roomates) to follow your diet and workout with you. It's really helpful0

I am also in college, but im trying to lose much more than the freshman 15 although that was also a huge problem for me. I'm currently down 7lbs. and am so excited about the progress i am making. My advice is to try your best and don't be too hard on yourself when you slip up. There have been several weekends where i have gone over my calorie counts or just had completely off days but Monday morning i always start right back up and work out even harder that week.
I hope this helps! Good luck I know you can do it!0 -
lol im a junior in college. didnt have so much a freshman fifteen but more of a junior 30 lol. its hard to find someone that is doing a "life changing" plan with you and to work out since everyone has their own schedule. what i do is i work out at home and/or jog around the block, and i eat whatever i feel like as long as im in the caloric allowance that mfp gives me (and sodium and sugar etc.) lol. it really isnt hard if you think of this as more of a life style change rather than OMG IM ON A DIET I CANT HAVE THIS THIS OR THAT..... been there. done those. lasta day on average lol.
but feel free to add me! i dont mind giving you some support on here =]0
