I took my measurement today for the first time in MONTHS. Like, half a year. Given, it has been a very effective half a year --- I went up about 6 pounds, and have lost 5 of them. But I've been keeping up on working out, if not on my dieting as much. (I'm all the way back into it now, though! I was moving across state and away from home for the first time --- the stress got to me.)
So, here I am, 1 lbs heavier than when I last took my measurement .... I've lost 1/2 an inch of my waist, and a full inch off of the circumference around my waist at my navel. Pretty cool!
I've lost inches (half inches mostly, but still) off of almost all of my measurements with my most recent measuring.... except my arms.
My arms GAINED 1/2 an inch!
Why is that a good thing, you may ask? Because I've been working my arms like effing CRAZY and they look awesome! They were 14 inches of flab when I started. With my weight loss, they got down to 11.5. Now they're putting on some muscle at 12 sculpted inches!
Okay, I'm exaggerating --- there's still some flab. But I've never seen my arms look this amazing, and I'm so happy to see that all of those push-ups, bench dips, pull-ups, rows, bench presses, etc, etc, etc are paying off!
