Weekends make me nervous!

I am afraid of over eating and not working out enough that I tend not to eat as much. I later find that I'm hungry, tired, and a wreck. I just started counting calories so I am still adjusting to food and the numbers in addition to what my activities on weekends burn.... I don't go to the gym on weekends so I feel as if i'm not exercising enough. I need a weekend cardio/weight training home regimen I guess... I have more control of myself during the week when I'm at work.

Make sure you get a heart rate monitor. You'd be surprised how many calories you can burn by doing activities you love...or chores! Walking, gardening, frisbee...they all burn calories! Enjoy what you do and it takes some of the stress off.
    Good luck!

I totally understand how you feel, I used to think I was being "really really good" during the weekdays by limiting myself in terms of what I can eat and just exercising so much. By the time the weekend rolled around, I was so tired of feeling so fatigued and hungry and deprived that I would either "reward" myself or just be unable to contain or control the urge to splurge on a lot more food. That really just set me up for a crash and burn later down the line. This time around, I'm doing it a much more healthy way by allowing myself to be full and eat things I liked with everything in moderation. Since I'm not so ridiculously strict with myself during the weekdays, I'm totally okay when the weekends roll around. I treat it just like any other day instead of my splurging/reward times, that way no more anxiety or nervousness. As for cardio workouts, you can definitely do some at home on the weekends! I usually like to go for a jog or walk outside when the weather's nice or there are always work-out videos. I actually checked out quite a few work-out DVDs from my library to see which ones I like without having to buy them all. :)
