CHOLESTEROL, that is.
Not sure I completely understand what is HDL ( GOOD) and LDL (BAD)
Can someone break it down into a nice word picture ( use crayons if necessary)? ( It's Friday and my brain's shot)

IMO- this is how I understand it.(I'm not a doctor!!)
...if your arteries are like the drains in your sink, the "bad cholesterol" is like taking the fat off your hamburger & pouring it down the drain. It's thick & heavy - and sticks to your pipes. The more this accumulates, the thicker the gunk inside gets, and can lead to a total blockage. "good cholesterol" on the other hand, is like draino in the sink - it's thin and runs right through, and helps take the gunk out. The "good cholesterol" keeps your blood flowing the way it's intended to.
