So....... my beautiful best friend is getting married in August, and she's asked me to give a short reading at the ceremony. Does anyone have any suggestions for something unique?
It won't be a religious ceremony, and I've been searching for a few weeks to find something that is elegant and beautiful and magical but not completely cheesy. (I know, I demand a lot.) I'd like to keep it under 5 minutes so I don't A) Start Crying, or Put People to Sleep, or C) Both.
I figured since a lot of ladies are on here prepping for weddings, there might be some good ideas floating around. Any advice would be appreciated!!

You could read part of a book or movie... maybe find a movie the couple likes (or that you like) that has a romantic monologue in it.0

Yeah, I like the book idea
I might just write something myself since I'm so picky.0
