corn chowder
Below is a recipe my grandmother taught me when I was young.
2 tbsp of diced onion
2 15 oz cans of evaporated milk
2 cans cream corn
6 cups diced cooked potatoes
Put enough water in the pan of potatoes to over cover them about an inch. Cook until done, water will be just at the top of the potatoes. Remove from heat. Add corn and evaporated milk. Stir. Add a couple pats of butter to the top. Serve. Makes about 12 cups or so. Serve with Saltine crackers.
