    There is a bash guard (which gets used a lot) instead of a big ring, and a chain tensioner to minimize chain slap. An innertube protects the swing arm from getting beat to bits by the chain. Some guys strap an old tire to the bottom of the down tube to protect the paint from getting destroyed. Too late for mine. Platform pedals. There aren't many people who clip in to a bike like this.

    The disc brakes are oversized, 8 inch rather than the typical 6 inch, and those are dual piston calipers, Hayes Stroker Ace. The trailing link that ties the frame to the rear hub so that the suspension stays active during braking. If that were not there, when the brakes would be applied, the suspension would get stiff, obviously not good.
