Food scales, grams, oz, and cups

ok so i have a digital scale that measures in grams however i notice that when i try to enter portion size on here sometimes i can only do it in cups... Can anyone help me with this frustrationg diffuculty. I dont see it being very effective for me to have to convert... If there is nothing i can do about this can you recommend a resonably priced food scale to purchase? Please and Thank you!!!

i know its frustrating but 8 oz = 1 cup incase converting is your only option..

i use a scale that has a measuring cup as the thing you put the food in.

also, sometimes if you click the drop down menu, you can change units of measure. I don't think you can for all of them, but I always check just to make sure.

most of the foods listed are usually shown twice so if you find only measuremnt in cups try another as it should then be listed in 100g. I usually use the 0.5 if im doing 50g which im sure is obvious . Iv only found a few items iv had to add myself but i think that has been the problem with duplications of foods.
