Today I ate a pint of blueberries & lately I have been eating whole tomatoes. What are the problems with these choices? A little back story is I have atleast 150 to lose & have been limiting myself to 1800-2000 cal per day. thanks randy

Unless all you're eating is tomatoes and blueberries, I don't see anything wrong with eating them as long as you're within your daily limit. I eat a pint of blueberries every day

I don't think there's anything wrong with that at all. I have heard blueberries are really good for you :) I personally dont like them but I ate a cup of blackberries and raspberries last night and felt great about eating that instead of cookies and milk lol Keep up the good work!!

Agree. As long as you're hitting your macros, I wouldn't be too concerned. Better carbs come from blueberries than ice cream!

When I was doing weight watchers a few years ago, the woman that ran the meeting I went to often said things l like "none of us ended up here by eating too many apples". I think the same can be said for blueberries and tomatoes....

Fruits and veggies don't have the fat or even calories that so many snacks do not to mention they don't have the sodium so unless when you are eating said fruits and veggies you are piling on some high fat dressing LOL or heavy cream You should be good.

The fruits and vegetables you have been eating not the issue. Looking at your diary it looks like you are mainly eating them with dinner. What you might want to cut are the crackers. Your best bet is keeping eating the vegetables and fruit but mixing in more lean meats, greens and longer burning complex carbos like wild rice, sprouted quinoa, baked yams with the skin, etc.

If you are eating the cheddar crackers because you crave cheese or fat you be better off adding some cheese to dinner over processed crackers. It would have lot more nutrients than the crackers.

Also keep in mind Tomatoes are fruits not vegetables.

Thanks guys. It would be very easy for me to replace a bunch of snacks with sliced tomatoes or strawberries. I am still hungry 24/7 & am doing my best to get my body on board with this new lifestyle.

Thanks to the folks who took the time to go over my diary. Exercise would be alot more had I not broken my foot /toe fishing two fridays ago.

The only other thing I would suggest is to consistantly drink more water... sometimes when you are dehydrated your body will make you think it is hungry when it just needs more water this will help you to feel fuller as well and it helps your body to flush out toxins.
