What can 30 days do for me?

I have been making steady progress here since February. I am down 24 lbs and a ton of body fat. I have been hanging at one spot for a while. ( maintaining well, but life got a bit busy and I haven't been brining it as hard) I have a 10th wedding anniversary cruise in about 32 days. I am feeling the crunch time motivation. I am looking to hear about what 30 days of hard core discipline can get me . . . what has YOUR best 30 days resulted in?

I lost about 12-13 lbs last month, which is easily a 'best' so far for me. :)

If you've hit a plateau, you might try zig zagging calories (google it) or increasing/varying your exercises.

Try Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred, or Ripped in 30. She is VERY intense. The 30 day shred DVD helped me lose most of my weight.

I think you are looking for promises that no one can give you. Just bite the bullet, stay focused and go for it. The only thing you have to lose is weight. :-)

Ditto - so I've heard. I've got the CD, just trying to get the nerve to start it.

Not looking for promises, just inspiration! I have a ton of supportive friends and I see some losing at huge rates and others plugging along slowly. I just want to ride this wave of "crunch time motivation" that I feel cropping up in me. I am ready to bite that bullet, stay focused and go for it. Thanks for making sure my focus is correct.

I have 30 DS, I think I can graduate to the Ripped in 30, sounds like a great plan, have Jillian help me!

You should think about the 30 day shred...you will lose weight, lose inches....and gain muscle!!
In your swimsuit, you will look hot!! It can be a tough workout...as tough as you want it to be. It has 3 levels & beginner & hardcore together......give it a try, you'll be happy you did.

I did it for 3 months ...everyday. I lost about 25 pounds, and gained muscle.....and I'm 49 years old!

    Good luck ; )

Wow, that is a super fabulous month. I have heard of zig zagging, I will look into it, it may be a fun way to keep me focused!
