So since about april I think i've gained about 2kg (4.4lbs)... just mainly because im starting to ease back into normal eating (i had a real problem with going over 1000 cals in a day) and ive been sick a bit so not much exercise. I feel like i can see the weight gain but everyone else thinks im nutty. I went shopping yesterday and tried on a pair of aussie size 10 shorts (US size 6 i think) and they were too big.. so tried an 8 (US 4) and they were perfect. i've never been an 8... and now im an 8 in everything - tops, dresses, bottoms... its weird! ive gained weight but gotten smaller somehow haha.
Not complaining I guess but please can someone explain this to me?! I am bamboozled haha

First off congrats, easiest way to put it muscle weighs more then fat :-)0

you lost fat and gained muscle..frustrating, i know, but our bodies work in odd ways..congrats0

muscle doesn't weigh more than fat but it takes up less SPACE than fat because it's far more dense! so you did gain muscle and lose fat, which is why your weight's gone up but your body's measurements have gone down (:0
