One thing that happens to me every once in a while is I get a salt headache. It usually comes after exercise though so it may not be the same thing for you. It's possible if you've been really watching your sodium though. Anyway, quick and easy check, put a dash of salt in your palm and lick it. Kinda like a tequila shot with out the other liquor. If that was it you'll feel better in 30 seconds. If not, it could be apnea too, That's a major symptom, so go see your doctor.0

There are a few different things that could be causing it.
1. If you are a moderate drinker, toxins can get stored up in your fat for years and once you start burning that fat, you can experience headaches as it is re-released into your system. It happened to my fiance about a year ago when he worked for a moving company.
2. If you have any addictions to sugar or caffeine that you've given up to lose weight, you could be having withdrawal symptoms that should go away in a week or two. This is something I experienced when giving up soda/coffee at the beginning of the year. And if its a caffeine thing, try having a cup or two of tea a day and that can help alleviate them.
There are probably tons of other reasons, but these are what I have experienced.0 -
Could be that even thought you're well hydrated (possibly over hydrated) you need to be making sure that your electrolytes are in balance.
Ah ha!
Just took a look at your comment 5 days in... Welcome to the detox phase. Coffee and refined sugars are usually the culprit for this time. I weaned myself off caffine very slowly and suffered less from those types of headaches. Hang in there it will get better. Don't overdo with your exercise right now because you need to let your body recover from the past and prepare for whats ahead. Rest and keep your diet squeaky clean. No foods that come out of a box or carton only the field or ground. Your chemistry is trying to correct itself right now.
You can do this just try to ease into your day and enjoy what ever comes your way. As my Mom always said," And this, too, shall pass."0 -
Waking with headaches can also be stress related. I get them because I grind and clench my teeth in my sleep. Relaxation or mediation before bed can be very helpful.0

have you started taking a supplement? I know that I cant take supplements that have preservatives in them as they give me headaches. I had to find natural made supplements.. sometimes its the casing the pill is in also..
Just a thought since I got headaches it might be a reason!
