Ok so today is my weigh in day - (the day i mark down my weight)
Well yesterday i weighed myself and i was 159.4 and today because of the high sodium Pasta and garlic bread with cheese i had last night at Boston Pizza i am up today to 162 grrrrrr
so do i put in todays weight or would it be ok to put down yesterdays more appealing weight showing my true loss?

I highly doubt you consumed enough sodium to make you retain 3 lbs of water. Check out this link for a nice list of possible reasons:

As far as which number to use, that is completely up to you.0 -
I log my weight loss every time there is one (i weigh myself every day) and if I'm up a pound or two because of water retention, I don't log it. I turn it into a mini goal. I would go ahead and put in 159.4 and kick butt chugging down on water and exercise to get that water weight off. Should be gone in a couple days.0

i would put in my true weight from yesterday. I am struggling with this also, last week my weight was 4lbs less than this week. I did not gain, clothes are fitting better, (pants that did not fit last week are comfortable) but I am seriously bloated, rings do not fit and feet are bigger, it is not TOM, but I had some salty meals so i am waiting until i get rid of this excess so I don't get discouraged.0

Have you tried the Green tea water pills? You can buy them at any walmart or many other stores.0

Which day is your official weigh in day? If it's today I'd go ahead and put it what you weigh this morning, you'll drop it this week and likely more!See if you can stay off the scale until next week or when ever your official weigh in day is, I think your next weigh in will be a nice surprise!:drinker:
For myself, I work to stay honest in every aspect pertaining to my lifestyle change it's incredibly important for my journey. For myself, it's been far more successful that way.
Our weight does fluctuate sometimes from hour to hour so for some jumping on the scale frequently makes them crazy. I don't have the obsession that some get, though I do step on the scale whenever the mood hits me, simply to see how certain foods have affected me.0 -
there's no such thing as a fake or true weight. whatever the scale says at the time is what you weigh. shouldn't weighyourself everyday, turns you into a crazy person, lol0
