Last Monday I decided to get myself back into a healthier lifestyle. Thursday I found this app on my phone. Over the past few days I have discovered it is AMAZING!
I have never been petite, but I love my curves. I just want to be healthier. A little about me... I started packing on weight while working, going to grad school, and crash dieting for my wedding. Happy marriage and a live of cooking and eating I went from a size 14 to a 20. When my husbands and I started to try to have a baby, we needed medical intervention. So we adopted a pretty healthy lifestyle, organization foods, diebetic friendly (as my husbands was diagnosed with a mild case at this time) and went to the gym 4 to 6 days a week. Fertility treatments are tough on your body as anyone who's injected hormones into thief body for one month knows - I did it for 2 years. Finally got pregnant with my miracle and it was a horrible pregnancy. Healthy estimated went out the window since I couldn't keep anything down I ate whatever I could and there was no exercise as I was on bed rest. I did actually loose weight the first 7 months, but it was very unhealthy for my metabolism. After delivery I was on restricted activity due to a pretty dramatic emergency c-section. New mamas rarely have time for themselves as I am learning. And my health deteriorated further with the onset of a mystery illness ravaging my body, causing me to be very tired, weak, and muscle loss... (there is more to it than that).
Well, here I am. Doing all I can to get healthy and be able to enjoy this time with my beautiful boy and loving husbands. Getting back into a size 10 would be a bonus too.
