Hi everyone, i have a doubt! I like to be lazy on the weekends and just sleep the whole morning sometimes, but then i dont know how to count my daily goal! im sure i wont need as many calories since i spent the morning in bed, but how much should i reduce them? should i logg the amount of calories i usually have for breakfast even though i didnt have, to reduce that amount of calories? Id apreciate your opinion!!!

Personally, I would just eat your normal meals for the rest of the day as if it were just a regular day. If you are at a deficit at the end of the day, that is okay once in a while. Just make sure you are back on track the following day. I wish I could sleep in more often! lol

Maybe figure out how many hours you are usually up then divide and get a calories per hour? So if you are usually up 16 hours and you usually get 1600 calories and then you are only up 12 hours take in 1200 instead? Good luck!

Just to help figure this out, I would change my goals and see where the calorie count is if you had a sedentary lifestyle. That is assuming that you are set at something other than that to begin with.

That would give you the daily calorie goal for that activity level and you could use that for your sedentary days.

I'm not a morning person either....... I get up just with enough time to get ready for work. I don't have to be at one job until 10am on Mon and Tues. (Pizza place). So my first meal of the day, is 2 slices of a mini pizza and a salad on those days since I eat at work.

Log your first meal whatever it is, as your breakfast on the weekends. Second meal is your lunch, etc.

you will get all of your food in. Just try to eat every 2-3 hrs. That's what I do at both of my jobs.

My other job I'm a caregiver for an elderly lady and I'm here 24 hr days for 2-3 days a week. NO early mornings here either.....

    hope that helps...
