What is your favorite "green smoothie" combination?

Options
I have gotten into making green smoothies because I realized that I was not getting enough greenery in my diet. My current favorite combination is:

1/2 cup of kale, 1/2 cup of dandelion greens, 1/2 pear, 1/2 banana, 1 cup OJ, 1 teaspoon flax seed meal, ice cubes

What about you? What combination has the right taste and nutritive value?

I would like to see some recipes too. Also, when I make a smoothie with kale I still have little pieces of kale in it. Should I blend it longer or is there some other trick?

    This makes 2 servings:

    1 scoop vanilla protein powder
    1 banana
    2 peeled kiwis
    1 cup cooked spinach, cooled
    1 tbsp ground flax seed
1 cup milk (I use 1/2 almond and 1/2 skim)
    ice cubes

Vitmina, de-stemming the kale might help ....and just blend the heck out of it on high. Add some ice cubes if your blender starts warming up. : )

I do a mean green juice--

    1 head of romaine
    1 bunch of kale
1 bunch of flat leaf parsley
    4 big stalks of celery
    3 handfuls of spinach
    2 green apples
    3 lemons
    1 sprig of fresh ginger

All through my juicer, and then strain it through a nut milk bag just to be sure of no pulp. Usually I drink this in about two days, I typically split it three ways and make sure I've used it before the 3rd day!

I have an extractor (not blender) and like this combo: lots of kale, 2 carrots, half a granny smith apple, celery, parsley and a tbsp of spirulina

For my basic green smoothie I fill the blender half full of either lacinato kale or spinach then add the juice of 1 or 2 oranges and lemon or lime if I have some. Blend well and add:
    1-2 bananas
    1-2 apples
a handful of frozen berries or peaches
a scoop of barley or wheat grass powder

Sometimes I'll add a stalk of celery or some fresh parsley or cilantro too. It really just depends on what I've got on hand.
