Lol! Good for you! It's a shame we can't have a calorie sharing scheme isn't it! I'll have some of yours please! How about... beer?!! ONLY JOKING! Don't shoot me! Hehehe... seriously though, my husband is having this problem quite frequently too - he certainly isn't 'eating back' all of his exercise calories - he just couldn't manage it! But he is continuing to lose lots of weight so hey, not knocking it! :D

I would grab a protein shake and call it done. sometimes it is IMPOSSIBLE to 'eat' all your exercise cals. but on those days I try to make sure that I am really good on my protein and fiber.

1521 cals of exercise seems really extreme and if you are going by "what MFP says" then it is probably way off, I wouldn't even try to eat it all back as you probably didn't really earn that many cals.

What was it and for how long?

I've had days where I've ended up negative in net calories!! As everyone else says, if it only happens occasionally, don't sweat it! Protein shake sounds like a fantastic idea. Keep up the great work!!

Nice burn. Next time you go over your calories, remember this day and don't feel even a little guilty :)
  • How did you burn that much? Whatya do?

I personally don't worry about net calories all that much, just calories in general.

So basically, you burned all those calories to do the exercise and then had only 4 calories left over to keep you alive. I would be a little concerned.

I'm also curious as to what you did to burn so much!!
