I have purchased the Pure Protein vanilla, chocolate and strawberry flavors from King Sooper (Colorado's verion of Kroger) and like both chocolate and vanilla pretty well.

I happened to look on Amazon for whey protein, and see that there are quite a few options that are less expensive than what I'm getting at King Sooper. I'm get 25oz for about $20. On Amazon some of them go down to as low as $.37/oz.

So my question is... what is your favorite whey protein? I'd like to get one of these less expensive options on Amazon, but don't want to get something gross.

Some of the options include:
Twinlab Chocolate Surge:

Optimum Nutrition Double Chocolate:

CytoSport Cookies and Creme

Thanks for your input!

I have used many different kinds of protein powder. My favorite brands are Optimum Nutrition and Dymatize Nutrition. True Science protein is also pretty good. I've been vegan for about 3 months so I've been using ON Dutch Chocolate soy protein and I love it! It tastes really good.

Anyone know if the Costco whey protein is good and/or priced right? I don't have Sams, but do have Costco.

Right now I'm digging Biochem Greens & Whey. I like the idea of getting greens in with my protein smoothies. Unfortunately these are like $17 for 11oz! Expensive stuff. But I really like the vanilla flavor. It's my favorite whey protein I've found so far. Next time I'm buying the bigger container (around 24oz for $23).
