How do you calculate the calories, etc. from marinades? Since not the whole marinade ends up being absorbed into the food being marinated, I'm not sure how to calculate the likely nutritional impact from them.

I do this awkward calculation where I first measure how much of the marinade is still in the bowl after I take the meat out. Subtract that. Then I take what was absorbed divided by the number of pieces of meat. I'm sure that's totally wrong though. LOL0

Calculate the marinade before and after. Subtract the difference and calculate the calories into your meal.
Example: you put 16oz of Italian dressing on your chicken to marinate. After you remove the chicken reweigh the marinade. Let's say you now have 12 oz. Your chicken has taken 4oz of marinade so add those calories to your meal.
Not perfect but it's better than not counting.0
