Hello everyone!
My goal is to lose about 40 pounds and I have never had a problem exercising but the diet aspect of it has always been my problem. To my dismay my trainer said that 80% is diet! I am anticipating that mfp will aid me in keeping tabs and being aware of what im eating everyday. I would love to lose the entire 40 by the end of the year! This forum seems to be a positive place for like minded people to acheive their goals.:-) WE CAN DO IT!

Hi there, I'm fairly new too and also have 40 lbs to lose. My problem was the opposite of yours though. My diet wasn't necessarily bad but I hated exercising and I have to admit I was probably a little lazy and full of excuses. This site is definitely helping me stay on track and I know it can help you too. Add me as a friend if you like. I could use some more connections on here to help me stay motivated.0

welcome to MFP and good luck on your weight loss journey, he's right but, I would say its more like 80 at first then 70 soon after if you want to see the pounds fall off, just remember at that point, get that heart rate up!!0
