I want a butt!

Most ppl want to get rid of their butt, but I want one! I have a butt yes... but I want a more defined one. Its a little flat haha

What exercises can I do to gain one? haha

    Mine has become so much more toned from the elliptical. I set the incline waaaaay up so I'm practically gliding straight up. Works those butt muscles. Stairs are awesome for that too.

    eliptical - the best - or if you don't have one lunges and lots of them

    I have to say the title of your entry just made me laugh. :laugh: Good luck in your search. I am still looking for my stomach muscles. I know they are around here somewhere....

    you can have some of mine! haha. but really the eliptical (incline) i like the hill workout... is the BEST :bigsmile:

    My older daughter is a little bitty thing and she never had a butt until she took a ballet class ... if you can find one somewhere it is an awesome workout and you will definitely get a high, tight backside!

    Exercises... anything that will contract the butt muscle (glute). I have LOTS of exercises for the butt, but some will be hard to express... maybe I should just make a video! hahah.

    Carrie, I feel your pain. I use to have a really nice butt (like 10 years ago), and I was doing squats and lunges almost everyday. Now I'm too busy just running that I have litterally ran my butt off. My mom and I were trying on swimmin suits and all of them fit everywhere exept the butt on me. My mom asked me what happened to my butt, because I use to have a really nice butt.:cry: Even my mom makes fun of me.

    Alright! I can do squats and lunges! I dont have an elliptical anywhere near me though! I used one for the first time about 3 weeks ago and LOVED it!! I can do squats and lounges yes!! haha Heres to a butt for me! :drinker: haha

    I want a butt too! I've never had a "J-Lo" junk-in-my-trunk butt. Both my mom and I are FLAT. Sigh - all of the junk went to my chest instead, :laugh:

    So my question is: is it possible for someone who has always been fairly active, and never had a "wow" butt to get one (without surgery!)?

    I've always been a "flat butter" (is that even a word?) even at my heaviest. Not anymore. Between yoga, squats, lunges and the bike. . .tah-dah. . .I have. . ."back".:flowerforyou:
  • I was born with a junk-in-my-trunk butt (I love that expression LOL) problem is that when storage went tight it went to my waistline :laugh: .
    Seriously, all the women in my family have the Kim Kardashian rear going on but I think Id better start worrying about it a little more before it starts to drop.

    Dead lifts help as well
    But the elliptical sure worked for me!!
    Walking lunges with weights are great too!!!

    I am finally happy with my butt, it's the side cars that I can do without LOL

    Dead Lift - weight bar on the floor, bend over, pick it up, concentrate on holding in core muscles, and lifting through contraction of the butt and upper thigh muscles. keep your back straight, and breathe out as you lift up. I currently do 40 pounds, 3 sets, 15 reps. Don't lift the bar higher than your hips, it's really the counter weight to the muscles doing the work.

    Ugh! I have NEITHER. Small bust and flat butt. My husband always says it looks like my butt fell off. LOL

    My thighs used to be alot thicker and I found once I was running and losing weight that my hamstrings became more defined and it "chisled" away a differentiation from my butt. So that has helped. But jeans never fit me right. I have to buy to fit my 41" in diameter hips. Yes, 41 inches of bone. There is no more fat on those puppies. I think it is physically impossible for me to wear anything smaller than a size 10. But when you buy for those suckers they ASSume that you have a booty. So I wear alot of skirts and dresses instead of pants.
