Hi All,
Sorry I know, another 30 Day Shred topic, but Ive had to download the DVD as I cant get it in Ireland in a format that works on our DVD players, so I had a friend download it for me. What size weights are used in the beginners and advanced excercises?
Anything else on the box or inlay sleeve that I should know about? ie any other equipment needed throughout the rest of the dvd?
Thanks for taking the time to reply if you do!!

I use 3lb weights for the first 5 days of each level then 5lb weights the last 5 days.
Do you have weights already? I'd use the lightest ones you have to start with as you'll probably find its quite a workout anyway then increase the weight when it starts to feel easy(ier) x0 -
you only need the weights and as I am going to do and many have suggested, you can start with soup cans. you only need the weight and a mat if you do it on a hard surface.0

I use 5 lbs weights but I already do a lot of weight and strength training at the gym. I thought that 5 lbs would be easy for me though and it was actually quite a challenge. If you're just starting out and not used to much repetitive strength training, I'd go with 3 lb weights for awhile.0

Thanks guys, is it 3lbs and 5lbs she uses in the dvd or does she just recommend a weight youre comfortable with?0

You can get the shred dvd cheap from Amazon or Play. A can of whatever will only way a pound in weight. Do you have some kitchen scales? Go filling pop bottles up and see how much more you can fill. Cans will do for the first time though since the workout will be something different anyway. Good look with the shred!0

When I tried to order it, it said that it wasnt playable in certain format DVDs ie Uk and Ireland?! I have it now downloads, and on DVD, which took forever to convert !! Its just the inlay sleeve I dont have!! Thanks a mill, I want to use actual dumbells, I used to use 8lbs in gym, but that was a while ago, so hopefully going to start with 3lbs, and move up to 5.
Thansk for replying!0 -
Fyi I bought my 30DS DVD from play.com and it's region-free so it plays on everything (I'm in region 2).0

The insert doesn't even have any information.
She'll tell you everything on the DVD menu when you click on Recommendations.
Weights you're comfortable with (I use 3lb)
Mat if you're doing it on a hard surface.
And endurance. (Yeah, I added that myself.)0
