Any new mums out there?

Hi!
my names Maria, and i've been using this site for 2 weeks today. I find it fantastic! I've never really dieted before, but after having a baby 5 months ago my body is suddenly behaving very differently, and I really want to get back to my pre pregnancy weight.
I've lost about 5lbs so I'm happy enough with that so far. Slow and steady! I love this site because no food is banned, and I can earn that bar of chocolate or pizza by going for a walk first or doing a zumba class. It makes me feel like I'm controlling my food rather then it controling me. I LOVE food, and i'm learning about making better choices, so this works for me!
How much weight are you hoping to loose? I've a friends wedding in 11 weeks so that's my target, but I've got my birthday at the end of July as my "mini-target" ;-)
I made a post to introduce myself when I joined, but I didn't really get chatting to many people because I just focused on logging my food (which took a bit of time to begin with!). I'd love to hear from other new mums. Your ups and down, making time for cooking, what's your goals, and your new additions to the family??? Feel free to add me if you're looking for a bit of support! x

Hi, I am 27 years old, and I have 4 children: Connor 8, Kieron 7, Shannon 5 and my latest (and last) Heather is 4 1/2 months old.
I used to be a smoker, but quit during all my pregnancies (I obviously don't smoke around the children!). Unfortunately I started again each time after the kids were born. I have now been smoke free for just over a year, so I am still battling my weight gain from quitting! I have no intention of starting again, and will do whatever it takes!!
I used to be a size 10 before having Connor, and I am now a size 12/14. I was comfortable with my body when I was about 10st, so that is my goal.
I would be greatful if you could share any successful tips with me and I will do the same with you. Hope you are doing well with your goals and hope to hear from you soon.x.0
