Hey everyone,
I was wondering if any of you women who are exercising a lot and losing weight have ever stopped getting your period for months at a time? Also, what was done to take care of the situation. Kind of personal, I know! But I need some feedback!

I've been a week or two late if I've gone extreme with workouts at first. But, never months... I'd suggest seeing your Dr.0

My new hardcore exercise lifestyle made me about 5 days late the first month but that was it. You should see a doctor if you are skipping periods.I've only ever heard of being late : /0

Dieting and working out may have some effects on you menstrual but that is more for REAL SERIOUS Athlete's. I would still check with your DR to verify and rest assure. I am 44 and I have not had that problem. If anything mine is showing up a little sooner than later. Time for my Dr. visit as well.0

Thanks everyone. I already spoke with my doctor and got blood work done to see whats going on. If nothing shows up, they will put me on meds to start getting it again.0
