I used to work in a grocery store, when I would help out on the register I would always check out what people buy, most of the time all I could think was "Man you eat like *kitten*"0

I`m a bragger grocery shopper, I put my items on the conveyer with pride and snobbery when I see people behind me buying junk. I hold my bucket of spinach high like a trophy, LOL!
Buy your food with pride, if you are embarrassed, put it back. That being said, we all know you have family that you let eat junk or you enjoy some in moderation. Just show the world your awesomeness by buying 90% healthy food and 10% treats.0 -
sooooo guilty. my husband eats garbage so soemtimes i go shopping for him and i have a cart full of totinos pizzas and chicken patties and gatorade etc. I always wanna be like, this cucumber is mine and those hot pockets are his. lol0

You can find out some awesome stuff about people through shopping cart voyearism. A+ to the man who bought nothing but vanilla ice cream, root beer, and four bottles of Jack.0

I live in Canada and while I'm in no way making the assumption that we eat healthier, but when I go down to the States it's like a train-wreck...! Especially these small towns along the border... the locals are as wide as the aisles and there are often pile ups :indifferent: and <gulp> two and three shopping carts FULL?!!:noway:0

I'm guilty of that. I always look in other people's carts to see what they're buying and usually feel good that I'm eating a lot healthier than they are.0

Yes, I admit that I look in other people's carts. And occasionally, I'll run into my doctor at the grocery store. Now, I KNOW she's looking in MY cart. Thankfully, the time's I've seen her are the ones where I'm stocking up on relatively healthy choices.0

I do this all the time, but not just in the grocery store. Just in general I look at people and shake my head because since I discovered this website and found out how EASY weight loss really was, I do not understand why every one doesn't do it. But, I tend to be judgmental anyway, so maybe it is just me...0

Yes! I'm not a parent but I seem to be the most judgemental about parent's carts when they're full of sodas, chips, icecream, sugary cereals, etc. Disgusting!
I just always wonder if there kids are getting any fruits or veggies?! It makes me sad!
This is me too! I look at the parents in the face, to their carts and just shake my head. They should be ashamed. My son is pretty picky but the rule at our house is he eats what's cooked or doesn't eat. He is exposed to all of the yummy fresh veggies we cook, even if he doesn't eat it. He knows what they are and will eventually try it.0 -
LOL I totally do this and I kinda of always have. I've always been a healthy shopper and it totally disgusts me when I see a family cart full of chips, soda, food that comes in boxes and frozen pizzas. Every now and then I'll see someone shopping what they think to be healthy and it takes all that's in me not to make a suggestion lol0

Hummm... my cart must be weird for some people. I do not buy my fruits and veggis at the grocery store....and I have kids that enjoy 2 cookies after diner and sometime eat sugary cereals....oh and cat food ;o) (well not for the kids....for the cats LOL)0
