Ok,

So I have been a memeber of MFP since January, and granted I know that I have made great progress with my lifestyle change. Lately I have noticed myself making fewer and fewer good decisions. I use to pride myself in going to the gym every morning at 5;30 and doing twice a a day workouts. Now I am struggling to not eat junk, and to make it to the gym once a day. I have no idea how I lost all my motivation. Slowly I can see that I am gaing weight and loosing muscle tone. I am so embarassed. I don't know what to do. I really need to know if this has happened to anyone, and what you did to get out of this...

I just don't want to fall apart and gain all the weight I have lost back... plus I still want to get to my goal weight. I feel like I am never going to accomplish anything...

I am right there with you right now. I have motivation to go to the gym every day and workout hard but my eating is suffering. I think I'm motivated until lunch or shortly after then it all takes a nose dive. Every day I wake up determined that today is going to be the day I get back on track but it never happens. I think we expect it to be an all or nothing thing but we need to take baby steps to fix it. Sometimes the small victories help fuel motivation and inspire bigger changes.

It happens to all at some point, don`t beat yourself up.

You can do this, focus on the day.

Make a mental note about whats causing you to slide and then as they happen, kick their *kitten*!

You know you can do it, you did it before.

Let me know how you get on or if there`s anything I can do to help..

Thanks, I know a lot of it has to do with being on vacation, and then coming back and applying for a training job and not getting it. I just feel lost. I just want to get down to my goal weight and really feel like I accomplished something.
