4 weeks and 15 lbs

I wish I had thought to do this when I first started on MFP, but I didn't take any pics of me at my highest weight. However, four weeks ago, I was feeling pretty good. Decided to whip out my phone at work and take a couple pics in the full length mirror in the women's washroom. (Yes, I really need to get one at home!) I knew today that it had been four weeks since I took those pics, so I wore the same thing, so I could compare. I've lost 15 lbs in those four weeks. It's funny...You don't really see the difference from one day to another, looking in the mirror. My clothes are fitting looser and people have been telling me that they can see it, but you know, sometimes people just tell you what you want to hear. But looking at these two sets of pics, I can see a difference. Definitely an ego boost this morning!

my lovely lady,
you are amazing!!! please pass on some words of wisdom to me....i been at this 10 days and have already lost 3 pounds...did you have trouble at first? or is this normal? i have such a warped mind sence that everyone around me sees the slight weight loss and inches lost, but i don't. i hate mirrors, and the ones in the bathrooms at home do no justice, since they are magnified to allow us that wear makeup to be able to apply and not have to get to close to the mirror!! haha...
you go girl!! and i miss ya!!!

Wow, and the difference is really accented by wearing the same outfit. Who would have thought that 15 lbs would make such a difference; this is certainly motivation to keep on plugging away. Way to go!0
