Ok, so when are you supposed to weigh yourself? I step on the scale one day and a day later step back on and I'm either 4 pounds lighter or heavier, what the heck? I know its not possible to gain 4 lbs in 2 days or vice versa.. so does anyone know when you're supposed to weigh yourself?

ALWAYS weigh yourself FIRST thing in the morning. But make you're you do the following: stay naked and use the bathroom first. Emptying your bladder will eliminate a bit of weight and you won't have your clothes on either. I find that by doing this, I get a much more consistent and realistic weight0

I've always been under the impression that first thing in the morning is the best time to do it. I think as long as you remain consistent with your weigh-in times, then you'll get a pretty solid representation of actual weight loss0

Also, don't weigh in every day (or at least don't take the day to day difference into account), since your weigh can vary for several reasons.
For example if you ate too much one evening, you'll be heavier the next morning, but if you kept your diet all week it won't really matter, so by not weighing in that morning it will prevent you from being discouraged because you temporarily gained a few pounds.
Also, I've noticed that if I drink too much alcohol, I'll actually lose up to 1Kg because of dehydration the next morning... But in the long run I'm obviously taking some weigh because of the calorie intake.
So my advice would be : Weigh in once a week, preferably first thing in the morning with an empty bladder.0
