Hidden sugars

:flowerforyou: Hello all, I'm hoping some of you may be able to help with a problem i've recently encountered , as the title suggests it has to do with hidden sugars, and not hidden too.... having recently been told i'm 'pre diabetic' i've been struggling to work out what is a healthy daily ammount of sugars in my diet. I often go over whats recommended here, things like fresh orange juice are a nightmare as they are so high in sugar. And many fruits are nearly as bad. Now i want to continue to eat healthily, and i love fruit and veg, always making sure i eat at least 5 a day, and ensuring variety, i.e 'rainbow salad'. I am booked in to see a dietitian next month, and have been scouring the internet, but it's all so confusing...Does anyone have a simple formula to follow, and also is it possible to adjust daily allowance totals on our food diary....(maybe i should ask that of admin lol)
