Hi Folks! So I know there has been some debate with the Wii fit and if it really does help with weight loss. I by no means am expecting to use it soley for my exercise but for those nights I can't get to the gym I plan on using it ( i have the activities it comes with plus a Jillian Michaels disc). Has anyone used the Wii fit and have noticed a difference?
TIA!
TIA!

I use it pretty regularly. I have seen a big difference. I lost about 42 lbs without working out at all, but recently, I've started doing some. I don't do much, but I do about 20-30 mins a day on the wii. My legs are toning up from doing the Free Step and Free Run and I also use 5 lb weights in each hand while I step. I've noticed my arms getting a little smaller too. I also just bought an attachment for the board today. Everlast makes it...it's a 3 inch platform to turn it into a real aerobic step. I'm pretty pumped about using it tonight0

I used only the Wii fit the first2 months of working out. I lost 13 pounds that 2 months. It works and as long as you're getting some movement in and you're watching what you eat, you're gonna lose. Congrats on making healthy choices.0

I use it for 30 minutes of Free Run which averages for me at the moment 4.1 miles jogged0

I used it pretty regularly for a while and noticed not so much a weight loss, but toning. I stopped using it when I got the biggest loser challenge for the wii, and then stopped using that one when I discovered exercise tv on demand for free!! I still use the wii fit, and the biggest loser challenge on some occasions, just not nearly like I did before!~0

For me, it really depends on the activities that you are chosing to do. The strength training and yoga are good and most of the cardio activities do SOMETHING but don't exept to lose weight from the balance games (which are fun but not taxing). I found, after doing it for some time, it was not offering enough intensity.0
