Sugar would have been my guess too. Not enough people monitor it. It can really hurt a diet.

dont know from what you put on here. Can't see your information. What is relatively healthy? Is that calorie range the recommended goal on MFP, are you eating your exercise calories? How much cardio? What kind of cardio?
Try different kinds of cardio, running, kickboxing, biking, golfing, water aerobics?

Try standing with your feet spread shoulder width appart and your arms out straight parallel to the floor and bend at your waist touching your hand to your leg. Make sure you only bend at your waist!
Or try getting on all fours and exhale completely then pull your stomach into your spine (like you're sucking in) and hold it for about 10 seconds then take a few breaths (don't pass out! you don't want to hold your breath for too long!!) and do it a few more times.
That's what I do, I know it sounds silly but I've also lost about 6 inches off of my waist and I didn't have a very big waist to begin with :P
Or you can do exercises like bending twists and also help pull in and tighten those muscles(:
    But losing weight is key!

you also need to take into account your body style...

You may be more of an apple shape instead of a pear or hour glass shape. so as you slim down you will find that your tummy is the last place to shrink...

I used to think I was an hour glass, but as I got thinner I am most certainly NOT an hour glass I am a pear shape..

But Definately cut sugar out of your system for a month. I did this for my wedding (and I was already about at my goal) and I lost almost 3 inches off my stomach before my wedding. Sugar is a HUGE factor to tummy size.
