I shouldn't have done it

About a month ago, I was going to just not log food for one week while I had company. I was going to watch what I ate. Walking was my exercise while taking everyone on the tourist things. Well, I learned that wasn't true. I did take the week off, walk, and eat well. I was so proud of myself...I'll get stared tomorrow I told myself, and I'm tired...I'll just order a pizza. Tomorrow, I'm back! Well, now it's a month later. I have not gained every pound back, but my pants are getting tight again. Pants that 4 weeks ago were falling off. So disappointed in myself. I now know for a solid fact. I HAVE to record my food. It's the only way for me to stay in control. Otherwise, I'm eating everything in sight. Sure doesn't take long to "ruin" what it takes weeks to achieve. Love the support on MFP...I need you guys!!

Glad to see your getting "back on the horse" after falling off. Today is a new day. Forget yesterday and plan for your tomorrow!!0

I did the same thing. I've been off for a month too, and it really hasn't been a very pleasant one. The worst part is that I no longer have the energy levels that I used to.0

It has happened to me too. Learn what you can and then don't look back. I am slowly realizing that even after months of effort, I still don't have control of my eating. If I don;t track, and don't exercise, I will overeat. I feel like it is an addiction. You are not alone and we are here for you!0

so true. it is so much harder to lose than it is to gain! You learn from your mistakes, but at least you know what it takes to get back on track! best luck to you.0

Welcome back! You can do it! I HAVE TO log everything otherwise its too easy to slip up and start ruining a good thing. MFP is a big part of my weight loss plan and strategy. I don't know where I would be without the MFP phone app. I log my food via my phone as soon as I am done eating or before I start eating a meal. Workouts I log directly after the workout. Logging constantly and consistently throughout the day helps me stay on track and reminds me constantly how many calories I have remaining I can eat and how many more cups of water I need to drink to get to the 8-10 cups a day.0

I just had that same sort of week. It is hard to get back on track. I am struggling, but I will make it, and you will too.0
