I was looking back on my food journal, and noticing that I'm usually way over my sodium limit, and sometimes over protein. How will this effect my weight loss progress?

I'm not sure about the sodium. The sugar thing is simple, do not pay attention to it!! LOL. If you watch your calories and your carb intake you will be fine, just make sure you are not having 3 twinkies a day. The things that cause diabetes are bread, desserts, pasta, rice, potatoes - you know everything that we absolutely love, they are all filled with carbs. When we put carbs into our mouth it automatically transforms into pure sugar. There is always going to be sugar in stuff... like fruit, veggies, and some meats. Most of the time if you are watching your carb and calories, you only gonna eat the good sugar and that's ok. You will not get diabetes if you eat healthy and stay on the right track.

If you want any more info befriend me. I'd be happy to help and I hope this helped a little.
