BEING ON VACATION IS JUST HARD

I'm on vacation and I'm being forced to eat food that's just over the top. I've eaten two donuts and a subway 6 inch today and my calories are already done.
What do you all do when you're on vacation in terms of diet?

    well it depends on where you are vacationing. if the hotel has a mini fridge or microwave i will actually go to the shops and pick up some fruit and oatmeal. it also depends on what you are doing on your vacation as well. if you are walking around alot seeing sites you will burn up calories.

    If there is a fridge in your hotel room hit up a local grocery store to stock up on fruits and veggies. If there are buffets start at the salad section, add some protein and you are good to go!

    Vacations are hard for me too! I am heading to St. Maarten in 2 weeks and I am trying to plan things out ahead of time.

    Another tip- I pack granola bars like fiber one bars, nuts, etc to eat on the plane and during the day when I get hungry and have nothing but bad options around.

    I like subway. They have some great choices. I just came home from vacation at family's. I just told my mom what I needed. I never said why just that it was what I like to eat. Even on vacation this comes always comes down to choices and moderation :) Plus vacation is to be fun :) Go have some and burn off the calories :)

    YES! I pack a bag of healthy snacks too. This was suggested to me and I was so happy I did it. I was able to maintain my sugar/protien level and did not hit the low and no energy. This is an awesome tip!

    How many vacations do you get a year? Enjoy yourself because I'm sure you deserve it. I just try to focus on eating less during the day so I can save up for dinner. Walk alittle more. I also pay attention to my alcohol intake because drinking too much. Causes me to eat WAY too much! Have a great vacay!

    It is hard. I was at Disneyland and did great lots of walking. Then I got home and my family came into town. that was a lot harder. It is over now. Took today to decompress and tomorrow back at the gym.

    Bah. I feel your pain right now. I'm on vacation in Canada and doing my best at eating healthy and some unhealthy things in smaller portions. My biggest problem is everything is in French, so I can't be my normal picky self at food places. It's killing me.
