So today i went to the doctor and got my every 10 year Tetanus shot. A few hours later i went to the gym and swam for an hour. My arm is feeling pretty sore right now but i kinda still want to do my workout video which consists of doing different exercises with weights (4 lbs for me). I read online though that the Tetanus shot hurts even more the day after. Would it be stupid to do my workout video or should i just take it easy tonight? Oh yeah and i don't want to do any other workout if it's not this one either.

your shot site will be sore and your arm may hurt for a few days but I think you may be able to do most of your workout....just maybe limit any major shoulder or upper arm stuff because I know it gets all hot and sore in the injection site.

You may be ok too, so maybe you can do a lower body or abs or cardio stuff that stays away from arms

goog luck, feel good, be healthy

It is just like any other injection or donating blood. They say not to do heavy lifting and to take it easy for a few hours up to a day depending on how you react to them. Tetnus is an IM so they inject it into your muscle hence why your sore now. I would take it easy if you don't want to do anything else or do your video with out weights (but you still might be sore tomorrow)

I was always told motion would help the soreness pass. I play cello/violin and used to play 8-12 hours a day. They loved to inject my bow arm right before a performance.

You can always try it and stop it if it seems like it's too much. Just be aware of it.
