I went to the Doc today the reason my knee is hurting is Arthritus. He advised no running and no high impact stuff. My question is simple I know you can modify the workouts on P90X. Will I be able to modify the workouts enough to keep my heart rate up and get an effective workout. Is there anybody out there on P90x with arthritus in the knees

oddly enough I am in the same boat as you. My knees dont act up too often. But trust me even super duper modified you will get your heart rate up. avoid plyo like the plague - try extra cardio for that day or substitute another workout. I avoid any cardio invovling legs on days i wake up in pain (like the super humid days that are coming up) I use them to get an extra arm work out or do pilates/ lite yoga. - Good luck! Hope that helps0
