Hi. I am 43 and a social worker in Texas. My goal is weight loss and increased strength and endurance. I have been using the site for about 1 month and am pleased with how it helps me learn to eat nutritiously and helps keep track of calories (and the sugar, salt, protein, etc). I thought I was too heavy on carbs, but this site is showing me that I eat more protein than I should and not enough carbs! I have about 60 pounts to lose (have lost almost 20).

    Welcome to MFP! I'm 43 too and just about to my goal. Feel free to add me if you want. I keep my food diary open to friends. Maybe it will help give you some ideas. Congrats on losing 20 pounds, that's great!
