does any one know how many calories you burn more in hot weather verses a 70 degree day. I live in the central Valley of California during the summer I have no choice butt o run in 90 plus degree weather. I know its not the best but thats all I got. And yes I don't need to know about the hydration or you shouldn't run in hot weather PLEASE DO NOT TELL BE ABOUT IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

I live in Miami, and in the summer it's a good 80% humidity with 90-100 degree temps. My HRM usually says I burn about 20% more than when I run at the gym (same distance, same pace).
Your best bet would be to get a HRM so you can know for sure.0 -
I've read that you burn more calories when its cold because your body uses more energy to maintain your body temperature. Not sure if that's what you're looking for, though. Just because you sweat more doesn't mean you're burning more calories. Some people aren't sweaters. I know people who run for 30 minutes and barely break a sweat, I run for 10 and its like I went swimming. I also read that standing under freezing cold water at the end of your shower for a few minutes jump starts caloric burn because your body is working to get warm again.0
