4 hour body?

Has anyone read/tried the 4 hour body by Timothy Ferriss?? I have been recommended this and probably more intrigued by increasing my endurance for running....apparently this also talks about getting you to run from a 5km to a 50km in 12 weeks!
Curious of any results, thoughts etc?? I have heard good results from a friend of a friend, and another friend in week 2 already and noticed fat loss (not that he had very much to start with).

If you're planning on focusing on the exercise portion, you might get something out of it. I didn't try the exercise section, so I can't be sure, but it looked like it was worth a try. I hated the diet portion because it was murder on my digestive system and I felt all around terrible.0

I liked his other book, 4-Hour workday, was good reading, though not realistic for me to accomplish. Would be interesting if that carries over to this book as well.0
