For the longest, when I would look at myself in the mirror I couldn't tell that I lost weight. I had so many others telling that I was looking great but I have to see it to believe it. I would look in the mirror and not see much if any difference. I do believe that we are our own worst critic. We see every flaw, etc. When I would look into the mirror, I'd see everything that was wrong and not anything that was right. Well, Sunday all of that changed for me. I went into my son's room to put away some laundry and I caught a glimpse of myself in his dresser mirror and was like "wow, that's me?" So I laid the clothes down on his bed and peeked into the mirror again to make sure I'd seen myself correctly.

Now, I honestly wish I had more before pictures. Before I started this journey, my niece was playing with my phone and took several pictures of me. They weren't very flattering so I deleted them, now I wish I hadn't. At that point I weighed almost 360. I managed to get down to 330 and gave up but didn't really gain, then started trying again and got to 309. That's the point that I joined MFP. I really believe that MFP helpd me to achieve what I have so far. Thanks MFP!
