Jillian Michaels - which one?

Hi - coming to the end of 30DS soon and want to do another round of it but also incorporate another workout dvd a few days a week.. has anyone got any suggestions - I've heard of banish fat, boost metabolism & ripped in 30 etc but don't know which is best.

I have rather chunky thighs & lots of stomach fat so looking to reduce these..

    Got L3 left so far bit more toned on my arms, a few pounds lost and around an inch off each arm, leg, hips, waist etc.

    I do spinning 3/4 times a week too and eat fairly clean.

    I am the same as you on level 2 day 7 now though. I think i am going to start up on Zumba and heavy weights plus I have started the couch to 5k. Maybe i will come back to 30 day shred twice a week because it is such a short workout if i need it. I might be starting baseball once a week too so i will need to practice.

    If you like the shortness and the 3-2-1 system of the 30 day shred then ripped in 30 is the way to go. But if you want a longer workout banish fat boost metabolism is killer, I can barely finish. Its all body weight exercises, she incorporates a lot of kickboxing, regular calisthenics, and some plyometrics. Either way both are very intense workouts.

    thanks! but your before picture is alot more toned than my stomach is right now by a longggg way!

    When I first read that I thought it said that my before was better than my after... I was about to cry lol! That 'before' picture is a bit deceiving though.... I definitely wasn't very toned!

    After I finished 30 day shred, I did Ripped in 30. Then started doing 6 week 6 pack but it wasnt enough cardio. I like the DVD for toning though. I am now doing Burn Fat Boost Metabolism. I needed more cardio and was ready for a longer workout. Ripped in 30 is around the 30 -35 minute mark, but Burn Fat is 54 minutes. Depends on what you are looking for! I love them all. And i have had results with all!
  • I started doing the one hundred pushups. If you have On Demand, I would recommend doing the Jillian Michaels section under Exercise TV.

    Ripped in 30 is similar to the 30S just added a level 4. I loved it and by week 4 I inc. my weight on my dumb bell. Banish fat is great, but I like to use weights also. Right now I'm using her Shred with Weights and I use a 15lb kettle bell. I have to say it's my favorite and I love doing it. It has 2 levels and I go back and forth b/t them. It's a killer workout and last < 30 min with wm up and cool down. I also bike (bluffs) for more cardio, but for toning you can't go wrong with any of them. Good luck in your decision!

    I think I've decided on C25k + Banish Fat Boost Metabolism, so going to do another round of 30DS but drop a day of spinning and incorporate those two 3 days a week.. but not one after the other, will focus on one in morning and one in evening. Need to shock my body!

    I love her cardio kickboxing DVD. It's not a program, like 30DS (which I also love), although technically I think it's part of her biggest loser series. Or biggest winner? I love Jillian, though--I throw the kickboxing DVD in every so often just for fun :)
