I've added cholesterol in food section so I can track. It will track the bad cholesterol, right?

The total cholesterol number on MFP adds together both HDL and LDL (the "good" and "bad"). There is no differentiation because food labels also lump them together.0

Dietary cholesterol and serum (blood) cholesterol are not the same thing and studies have shown that dietary cholesterol has little to no effect on a person’s serum cholesterol. Your liver produces more cholesterol then you could ever consume in one day.0 -
I used to track cholesterol in my diary as well, but found that a lot of the food in the database doesn't have that info, so I ended up taking it out.
I lowered my triglicerides just by switching from white flours to everything wholewheat, and exercise. That lowered my overall cholesterol numbers, if that's what you're trying to do.0
