So I generally don't like home made oatmeal, but everyone swears by it, and swears that it is much better for you..... sooo I experimented last night, and what I came up with was super tasty.
Here it is!
HOME MADE PEACH OATMEAL
Ingredients:
4 tablespoons Honey/agave nectar
6 teaspoons brown sugar
6 servings of cooked oats
1 cup or more of Frozen peaches
Directions:
**My oatmeal was 4 cups water to 2 cups oats for six 1/2 cup servings of oatmeal.
Cook oatmeal set aside.
While oatmeal is cooking in small sauce pan, cook the frozen peaches down until they are SUPER soft, it takes about 5-7 minutes.
Once oatmeal and peaches are done mix them together, then add the honey and brown sugar.
ENJOY!

I think next time I will add half as much brown sugar or perhaps none. It was a tad on the sweet side. I was surprised by this, because usually I can handle LOTS of sugar. Especially in my oatmeal. I was excited because it was quite obvious how much farther I have come than I thought with my addiction to sugar.
