I did a fun experiment with chocolate as an evening snack to see if it would affect the plateau I had been on for the past 6 weeks. Check out the blog I posted this morning with the results: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/bjohs?month=201106

That's awesome. And I agree, sometimes it surprises you what spikes your metabolism to start working again. I have to have one day where I eat something awful like pizza or fast food in order to keep my body from plateauing.0

Awesome! But you might want to reconsider the sugar-free jello... Must watch: http://www.foodista.com/blog/2011/06/20/how-splenda-is-deceving-you0

I really don't eat a lot of foods with artificial sweeteners if I can help it. I have stopped drinking soda, but when I did (or rarely do) it is always the regular soda and never diet. I'm not a fan of the artificial stuff. Never have been. But, in tiny amounts, I don't believe they are too much of a health risk.0

Great article about the benefits of dark chocolate: http://bit.ly/lQh6pt. Dark chocolate also aides in reducing belly fat! No wonder why the shorts that fit me a couple weeks ago and now too loose around the middle. Yay!!! I think I'll be picking up more of that dark chocolate today... since I'm out.0
