I would log it as just peanuts since that's all that's in real all natural PB. I think I estimated 20-30 peanuts in 2 Tbsp, but others might have a more accurate number.0

it should be about 90-100 calories per tablespoon.0

I have to say the best PB I have used is the PB2. It is powdered, but reduces the fat by 85% leaving most the protein intact.

OK...so after checking more into this...here is what I have found.
1 oz (28Grams) of dry roasted peanuts is around 160 calories...Now if I'm doing this correctly, would I be correct to say that 2 tablespoons (28 grams) of peanut butter with the ingredients being JUST DRY ROASTED PEANUTS is 160?? If so, I'm a VERY HAPPY GIRL!!!!0 -
The brand i use is 100 cal per tbls.0

I have tried the PB2 and it just isn't the same as my Natural PB...not even close! I wanted to like it soooo bad due to it's low calorie..but alas, it just wasn't doing it for me.
My dog ended up eating most of the jar in his Kong ball.0 -
I use a crunchy peanut butter by Meridian. Its only ingredient is "peanuts whole skin on," and it has 145 calories for a 25g serving!0

I LOVE PB2 - but I mostly use it in my protein shakes - otherwise I could never justify a real peanut butter banana shake
I can even tolerate it on toast just because of the fat savings. When I went vegan I got used to fake meats in the same way... it wasn't THE SAME, but it was close enough to satisfy the cravings...0 -

Natural pb is too annoying to me. B/c you have to keep it refrigerated its harder to spread therefore you end up using more. Kraft Natural is actually 10 calories MORE and with only 30mg less of sodium, I switched back to Kraft Light.
PB2 is fun but at 4x the price of regular pb (pb on sale is $2 for 1kg, PB2 is $6.50 at specialty stores. Even when I found one website that sold it for $3.69 shipping tripled the cost so that was a no-go), it’s a deterrent. I'm still nursing my 1 PB2 jar from over a year ago. I really should go double check the expiry, lol!0 -
I use the Trader Joe's unblanched natural peanut butter (creamy). The only ingredient in it is peanuts. You can check out the #s for that. It's in the database.
heathersmilez, the TJ PB I mentioned above does not get hard and is very easy to spread straight out of the fridge.0 -
try looking for: Fresh Ground Peanut Butter - Peanut Butter No Salt No Nothing Just Peanuts0
