Because I feel like stirring the pot a little here today...
What is some advice you read on either these forums or the internet in general about health, fitness, etc, that you just know is total bunk?
Edit: And as a note, this isn't meant to actually debate said bunk. It is to point out that you think it's bunk, and it irritates you to see it posted.

Muscle weighs more than fat
Eat less, exercise more (to the point of starvation)
Carbs/Starches are bad and to lose weight you shouldn't eat them
Not eating is a good way to lose weight
Eating late will make you gain weight
Being a vegetarian means you're healthier
Being thin = healthy and fit0 -
This was posted in response to a post about binge eating and how to recover:
The best way to undo the binge eating ( only if its 1 meal) is to use a laxative ( optional) that night so all the food gets out of the system in the morning.
REEALLY BAD ADVICE!!!0 -

I know vegetarians that eat very unhealthily. Just because you don't consume meat, but you consume chips, cookies, cake, fried veggies...etc doesn't mean you're healthy. If you're a "healthy vegetarian" then yeah...but you have to consume the right foods, vitamins and supplements to be considered healthy.0 -
That working out for hours on end is a good thing >.<0

Muscle weighs more than fat. (One pound of muscle still weighs exactly the same as one pound of fat, just like a pound of feathers weighs the same as a pound of quarters; you can't change the laws of physics there.)
People who say that someone is in shape as long as they're thin; those two are not mutually inclusive.
All carbohydrates are bad. (Actually, I get more annoyed at people who spout this because they heard is somewhere, but don't know the science of how your body breaks down different nutrients, so they don't actually know and can't possibly explain how they could possibly be "bad".)
Don't eat after [insert arbitrary time here] or you'll undo everything you worked for during the day.0 -
People saying muscle weighs more than fat is like nails down a chalkboard to me.0
