Hello All
My name is Marlene and I have been diagnosed with PCOS and hypothyroidism. I basically have been dealing with both issues for about 15 yrs. I finally got diagnosed with PCOS about 10 yrs ago.but not since February of this year..has any doc tried to do anything about it. The last time I lost significant weight was during 2000-2001..working out 5 days a week for 2 hrs a day..and still at that point..I didnt go lower than 150 pounds...pretty depressing

About 10 weeks ago I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I always knew something was wrong..but all I ever heard was eat less and work out more. So needless to say..finally found a doctor who listens. Its been 10 weeks since I have bee taking Armour thyroid..and I have lost 16 pounds!

The last 3..have been because I actually have been exercising...not much about 30 minutes on the elliptical. I only did it twice last week..but this week, the goal is for 5 days.

I am hoping to lose more weight before my next doc checkup..and then from then..start throwing weights into the mix. I am feeling so muc more energized..its crazy...We have a family wedding to go to in September..and my goal is to be about 145 pounds by then..enough to make a grand entrance...wish me luck..

-Marlene
