six weeks six packs

Today is my day 2 of week 1 of JM 6 packs in six weeks.
I am sore on my inner thighs and finding it hard to walk but not feeling anything on my abs.
Is this normal or my form is not right?

    Your form is not right... sometimes you really need to concentrate on contracting the ab muscles... It took me a VERY LONG TIME before I could really learn to do it right, and I still have to really concentrate during ab exercises. If you need to, go slower than the dvd, and keep working at contracting the ab muscles.

    Abs are the hardest and are usually the last to show up.
